We have a Winner!
We've had a great week over at Memorable Seasons with such amazing inspiration!
We were challenged by Tami here, CHA challenge - first tell us which paper line or company you are excited to get from this CHA and then I want you to scrap a page using some older product from that same company. Make sure you show us a picture of which new line it is that you are after!
We were also challenge by Heather here, Fave thing challenge - My challenge for you is to really think about some of your favorite things. Choose one and scrap it. Bonus points if you can include an actual element of it in your layouts.
And FINALLY we chose our 2012 Last Scrapper Standing champion, her work amazed us all during the 8 week competition, and our winner is LINDA! Huge congratulations to Linda and all of our contestants for the amazing work that they created the past 2 months, way to go!
Make sure you stop by and do some shopping at the store, the list of pre-orders is amazing (as is the price)!

Week 8 of LSS & Preorders in the Store
Wow...have you been following our Last Scrapper Standing contest? It's been amazing and we're down to the final week and have just 3 ladies "left standing"... Susan, Jean & Linda....
The challenge this week can be found HERE and it's my challenge... the challenge is to get a little creative with you title and/or journaling.
So, for my example...in case you don't know me very well...I have a weird, wacko kinda sense of humor...so I brought that out in my title...kinda using a "play on words". And in my journaling, I drew some wavy lines and played with my Pilot Frixion pen (ERASABLE) until I got the wording nice and fun!!... I've only done that once before and it's kinda fun... And I wanted to use that card souvenir that my son got at the aquarium, since I consider that card as part of my journaling too since it tells the name of where we were...and the name of the crab species from the photo... but I was "not allowed" (per Joseph) to adhere it..lol! So, I used the twine to hold it on and it's balanced at the bottom on a brad.
I used my July DT kit which featured LYB's Splash line... too fun!!

Patricia shares some inspiration with us!!
Hi all...Joni here... Today we have a very special guest for our blog post...remember back in May when we had a crop?? Patricia (aka apanf) won a guest blogger spot...so today she is gracing us with her words and wisdom regarding using Advertising as inspiration.
Patricia:
You often hear how inspiration can be found everywhere- like from fashion, home and garden magazines, and even from the many styles and colors found at Target. Even though I‘ve tried, I've never been one to find inspiration in these types of places and always just rely on getting my ideas from other’s pages and blogs.
Thanks Patricia....wonderful info to share with us!!!

Even though I‘ve tried, I've never been one to find inspiration in these types of places and always just rely on getting my ideas from other’s pages and blogs.
This all changed when I received, a few months ago, the May JCPenney catalog. Do you remember the huge catalog they used to have? It used to be all pictures and item numbers? Well, no longer! What I received in the mail was a streamlined smaller version full of great colors, great patterns and in particular great title ideas!! I always struggle with title ideas!
As I read the many captions, I was immediately inspired! I could see pages forming in my head based on these fun titles and slogans. I eagerly awaited the June catalog and I was not disappointed as it had just as many fun titles and ideas as the first! I can happily say, I finally have gotten the connection between outside influences and my scrapbook pages! Don’t just throw away your junk mail, especially your JCPenney catalog- take a look through it and get inspired! Here are a few layouts I have created that were inspired from the latest JCPenney's catalog!
