Sketch-a-Thon Continues..more fun to share!!

Our WINTER WONDER SKETCH-A-THON is in full swing over at the Message Board....  we're only in week 2 of 4 weeks, so plenty of time to get caught up....

I wanted to share the sketch challenge DT Member Sally did for today using a sketch from a wonder challenge site called Let's Scrap

Sketch a thon Day 3

So ladies we are halfway thru the week and today is Sketch #3 already.  I thought I would jump on over here and share with you our sketch today and the awesome inspiration we got from our very talented DT gal Joni!

Here's her sketch she chose from the very talented Susan Stringfellow

 And look at the beautiful work she did for her example using some Little Yellow Bicycle Winter Twig.  Of course it came right from the store. 

I hope you have been inspired today and decide to come join us as we will be gettin sketchy all month long--I mean its January which brings some sketchy weather, so take advantage of it with 20 sketches to get you going!  And while your at it go check the store for some great product like this Winter Twig!

Hello 2012-its time to get moving

Hello Ladies and welcome to 2012.  We are very excited for the new year.  Time for new things and to get that scrappy mojo back in gear.  So with that we have decided to host a little something new for you this year.  Just to get your mojo flowing again after the busy holiday season. 

We are holding a sketch-a-thon!  Yup, one whole month of inspiration for you and of course there will prizes too!
Here are all the details:

In January, we (the DT) will be hosting a SKETCH-A-THON!!!
Each weekday starting Monday January 2nd - Friday Jan 27th, a new sketch will be posted.
So that's every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!!!

You'll have the weekends to catch up and also that last few days of Jan.
(last sketch Friday 1/27, month ends Tuesday 1/31).

Now I bet you are thinking 20 sketches not to worry girls. We just wanna get your mojo back in gear after the holiday season. You can do as many or as few as you like!
For every sketch you complete, you get your name in the monthly prize drawing for a GC to the store.
You can do the same sketch multiple times, however you only get your name in once for each sketch/challenge.
Layouts and cards are both ok!!
We hope you will come over and join in on the fun!

Fresh Face DT call

New Design Team members search

is holding a Design Team search until Dec 31. A decision will be made by Jan 5.

Memorable Seasons is an on-line scrapbook store, gallery and message board dedicated to documenting all the seasons in your life. We are searching for one more designer to complete our team.

1.links to your online gallery, blog and/or resume, if available
2. your full contact information: name, phone number, email address, and mailing address. Include your message board name if you sign up for the gallery under a name other than your given name.
3. a short paragraph or two about why you want to be one of our designers and what you would add to our team
4. a list of your current scrapbooking commitments – other DT work, etc
5. and then attach the following items

photos or scans of 3 total projects to include
• your favorite layout
• one card
• one altered item or an additional card
We prefer those who are not currently on a design team affiliated with a store. Manufacturer, sketch site or kit clubs with no stores attached are okay. Additional details can be found here.

Design team members will receive a monthly kit sometime after the 10^th of the month. You are required to create and share at least 4 projects using mostly the items in your kit on the 1^st of each month. One of those 4 projects must be a card. You will also be required to choose a layout of the week, issue a DT challenge and post to the blog on a rotating basis with the other DT members. Other requirements include active participation on the message board, on line crops, occasional happy hour duties, creating a layout based on a monthly sketch and any other promotions that may come up. Term is 6 months with an option to extend by 6 more months and a limit of 1 year.  If selected to join our team your initial 6 month term will begin in Feb 2012. 

December Kit Club Reveal

Oh girls-this month I got to work with the December kit for my reveal and let me tell you what-this kit is GORGEOUS!  Jill is the MASTER of mixing papers to come up with a beauty of a kit.  And all for $24.99-WOW-such a great deal.  I tell ya you gotta sign up-you wont believe how cheap her shipping is!
